Ascension St. Vincent’s East MOB 52

This was the first Medical Office Building on the St. Vincent’s East campus and housed, at the time, the largest Ambulatory Surgery Center in Alabama. This development solution was an early example of how core and non-core hospital functions could come together in more of an outpatient setting by utilizing a business occupancy facility versus a more costly institutional hospital-grade facility. Our purchase of this facility became part of the hospital strategy to monetize existing non-core assets.
