Senior Vice President Strategy & Marketing

Laura joined Development Solutions from a 20-year career in strategy, marketing, communications & sales.

Laura has extensive experience in the healthcare space where she served in several leadership capacities across both for- and non-profit health systems including Brookwood Medical Center, Baptist Health System and Brookwood Baptist Health, in the areas of strategy, brand development, and service line development. She also does outside strategy consulting for healthcare companies and start-ups.

Prior to joining Development Solutions at its inception in 2021, Laura led the University of Alabama project for Legends Global Sales, a premium sports agency that provides sales and service solutions to sports organizations and venues. She has also directed the B2B and B2C marketing efforts for the Alabama Media Group & NOLA Media Groups, the parent companies for renowned news outlets including The Times-Picayune, The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times, Mobile’s Press-Register, AL.com and NOLA.com.

Laura serves as an Adjunct at the Brock School of Business at Samford University and serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Management. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Alabama and a BA from Birmingham-Southern College.

Laura is the incoming chair for Baptist Health Foundation’s Wine, Women & Shoes event, past Executive Board member for the Junior League of Birmingham, and the faculty advisor for Samford University’s Kappa Delta chapter.
