Laura joined Development Solutions from a 17+ year-career in strategic marketing, communications & sales. She most recently led the University of Alabama project for Legends Global Sales, a premium sports agency that provides sales and service solutions to sports organizations and venues. Prior to that she directed the B2B and B2C marketing efforts for the Alabama Media Group & NOLA Media Groups, the parent companies for renowned news outlets including The Times-Picayune, The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times, Mobile’s Press-Register, AL.com and NOLA.com.
Laura has extensive experience in the healthcare space, most recently as a marketing strategist for a start-up healthcare software company. Prior to that she served in various leadership capacities across both for- and non-profit health systems including Brookwood Medical Center, Baptist Health System and Brookwood Baptist Health, in the areas of brand development & launch, marketing strategy and service line marketing development.
Laura holds a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Alabama and a BA in English from Birmingham-Southern College.
Laura lives in Birmingham with her family and serves as an Adjunct at the Brock School of Business at Samford University, and Sustainer and past Executive Board member for the Junior League of Birmingham.
